Lift Modernisation — Blocks 40 to 48
One lift per affected block will be taken out of service at a time so that each block keeps a working lift throughout the works.
Notice
Lift modernisation works begin in the second half of the year for Blocks 40, 42, 44, 46 and 48. The works cover the controller, drive, doors and car interior.
How the works are staged
Only one lift per block is taken out of service at any time. The remaining lift stays in operation, so every block keeps lift access for the full duration.
Expect the working lift to be busier at peak hours. If you are moving furniture or appliances during this period, speak to the management office first so we can schedule around the works.
Working hours
Works run Monday to Saturday, 9.00am to 6.00pm. There will be drilling noise near the lift lobbies during the first two weeks of each block’s works.
Residents who need assistance
If someone in your household has mobility needs and would be affected by a lift outage, tell the management office. We will note your unit and prioritise scheduling around it.
